Abstract: Through interviews with mixed and multiracial individuals aged 18-30 with roots in Anglophone Caribbean countries reporting large multiracial populations, this research describes the effect of Caribbean racial rhetoric on ethnic identity development and how this cohesive identity is deployed via interpersonal interactions and social media to affect racial discourse
