Kai Morgan

Dr. Kai A. D. Morgan has been the President of the Jamaican Psychological Society since 2014 where she has led the charge in some capacity on the Executive Team, for the appropriate registration of psychologists and counsellors for the past 13 years. She is a clinical psychologist and worked as a lecturer for the past 15 years, teaching in the Bachelors of Medicine & Surgery programme, DM Psychiatry Residency Programme, and Masters programme in Clinical Psychology and worked as a consultant for the University Hospital of the West Indies, where she conducted and managed psychology outpatient clinics. Dr. Morgan recently resigned from her full-time university affiliation but continues to work as a part-time lecturer. She currently maintains a private practice where she conducts various assessments and offers therapeutic services for couples, children, adolescents and adults and offers organizational consultancies. Her major research interests are: Caribbean psychology, cross-cultural psychology, Borderline Personality Disorder, sport psychology, sexual behaviour & couples issues / therapy.
